Every year CapitOx hosts its annual Inter-University Stock Pitch Competition. A competition designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical experience, it is an opportunity for students from universities around the world to practice their research, analysis, and presentation skills in a competitive environment.

Teams who reach the finals get the opportunity to present in-person at the University of Oxford in front of a panel of professionals. Previous CapitOx competitions have included judges from firms such as Point72, Capital Group, Citadel, Bernstein, and Barclays.

Our Stock Pitch Competitions usually run in the spring term with finals generally being held early in March. Previous iterations have required participants to submit an Investment Memorandum, Financial Model and in later rounds a Pitch Deck.
