After the success of our invitational competition in 2025, and our various M&A Opens, CapitOx is now welcoming submissions to our 2026 Inter-University Stock Pitch Competition.  Designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical experience, the stock pitch competition will place teams from around the world against each other, the best of which will be invited to present their investment ideas in person on the 7th of March 2026.

Teams will have the opportunity to not only challenge themselves intellectually on their ideas, but will also be able to present to a panel of finance professionals from some of the world’s top hedge funds. Previous CapitOx competitions have included judges from firms such as Point72, Capital Group, William Blair, Barclays, and Morgan Stanley.

This year’s competition will consist of 3 rounds: a shortlisting round based on the Investment Memorandum submitted, a semi-final round, which will consist of the submission of a pitch deck, and the Finals, which will be held in person at the University of Oxford.
